Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on November 24, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former political candidate, and also an anchor on television at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they were leaving the show, at the end of May in 2021. They wanted to start their own venture, called Breaking Points. Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. Her guest appearances include on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball is able to attribute her interest in politics to being an expectant mother in 2008's primaries. Additionally, she was a witness to the US election results while in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected those in that country and gained an appreciation of the impact that US politics have on the lives of people around the world. She was part of the Senior Fellow member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congressional District for Congress in 2010, but lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She was the host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. She established the People's House Project, an action committee working for Democratic causes in May 2017.
