Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She held the post from 2021 until 2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson for US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns to CNN from 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later appointed the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's presidential campaign. Psaki was also the communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. [20] Psaki was named spokesperson for United States Department of State in February 2013. The speculations that she would replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary when he left the White House[21] were fuelled by her appointment by the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as Carney's replacement on May 30, 2014. In 2015, she returned to the White House as communications director and stayed through the end of the Obama administration.
